| Customer Reviews: Kid likes it; mom thinks it's a waste of money. January 31, 2010 M. S. Schafer (Gainesville, FL, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My six-year old son is a bakugan fanatic. He has close to 30 bakugan of all types. When the stand his father built for them ran out of space, he wanted a bakusphere to hold the remainder. I thought the toy was too expensive for what it seemed like it did, which was only hold about 6 bakugan. My son insisted that it held 18. We made a bet on it, and when the toy description showed he was right, I bought it for him. The bakusphere looks cool enough, and does indeed come with a couple of bakugan, but when the sphere is opened, it's just two sides of an empty ball with a pull-out piece of plastic that only hold 6 bakugan and one or two trap (depends on shapes). Other than shoving the bakuballs willy-nilly into the sphere and hoping to get it closed without spilling them, we cannot figure out how this thing holds 18 bakugan securely. There is no internal structure, no little compartments, and no instructions. My son thinks it's okay; it's on the floor in two halves next to his bakugan stand. I think it's a waste of money. Better to buy the bakugan and a cheap tackle box rather than a carrying case OR bakusphere. It gets 3 stars b/c my son is satisfied; otherwise, I think it is over-priced and not particularly useful.
Doesn't fit together, shouldn't even be on sale! January 18, 2010 Jeanne Wiestling (Minneapolis, MN USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for my kids' collection at Christmas 2009, and thought it would be a cool-looking way to store the little buggers. Holds cards, too! UNFORTUNATELY, THE TWO HALVES DO NOT FIT TOGETHER. NO WAY, NO HOW. You cannot store anything in a tippy container with no top. WE WERE NOT THE ONLY ONES. OUR FRIENDS WHO GOT THIS ALL HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE. BAH-kugan HUMBUG!
